Hi, I am Sarah – your specialist newborn photographer in Chelmsford – it’s great to have you here!
To capture all the freshness and tiny features of your little one I love working with natural tones and minimal use of props, so the focus is entirely on your baby.
Newborn photoshoots are perfect for babies under 3 weeks of age – when they naturally settle into those beautiful sleepy poses we all love.
If baby is older, please don’t panic. We can still organise a session and create a beautiful gallery of images for your family – we just need to adjust the session a little.
All newborn photoshoots are done in my private, comfortable photography studio in Chelmsford (Great Leighs, Essex).
The studio is ideally placed for clients from the surrounding Essex towns of Braintree, Colchester, Witham, Tiptree, Maldon and Brentwood.

Your newborn photoshoot at my studio in Chelmsford (Great Leighs, Essex) can focus on baby only or include parents and siblings.
To create a beautiful gallery of images that capture all those tiny, heart-warming details, we will use a range of setups, outfits and accessories that match your favourite colours.
You can reserve your appointment at the studio for only £50 – no need to choose an image collection or products until you have seen your final images
how does it work?

The best time to photograph your baby is when they are under 3 weeks of age.
When you are ready to book, we will reserve your appointment for £50. At this stage, we will book you in for your due date, and confirm the exact date of the session when baby arrives – so you don’t need to worry about your little one being early or late!
Ahead of the session you will receive my prep guide, and we will make time to discuss the styling of the session: I truly want you to love the whole experience as much as the final images, so I’ll be available to answer all your questions and clear any doubts you might have.
You can expect your newborn photoshoot to last up to 3 hours, as at all times we’ll adapt to baby’s needs: there will be plenty of time for feeding, changes and snuggles!
Approximately 10 days after your session I will welcome you back to the studio for a viewing and ordering appointment, where we will reveal your final gallery of gorgeous images and help you decide which images and products suit you best.

My packages are detailed below. A £50 session retainer is payable upon booking to secure your session and is deducted from your chosen collection on the day of your viewing.
