Just a moment ago your little one arrived into your life (and changed it forever!) and now… they are about to turn 1!

First birthdays are such an incredible milestone, at the end of a year of beautiful “firsts” – and what better way to celebrate it than a Cake Smash & Splash photoshoot?

These sessions are special, as they include 3 photoshoots in 1!

A portrait session to capture your little one’s growing personality
The smash! When we bring the cake in for some frosting fun
The splash! With bubbles to relax and for some additional giggles

Cake Smash photoshoots are done in my private, comfortable photography studio in Great Leighs, Chelmsford, Essex.

The studio is ideally placed for clients from the surrounding Essex towns of Braintree, Colchester, Witham, Tiptree, Maldon and Brentwood.

Birthday Cake Smash photoshoots at my studio in Chelmsford (Great Leigh, Essex) include:

A beautiful birthday-themed setup
Matching decorations and props (including balloons)
A beautiful birthday cake to complement your setup

As this might be one of the first similar sensory experiences with food for baby, we’ll ensure that the cake is of the right consistency and dimension and we’ll gently guide baby to have fun throughout the session.

You can reserve your appointment at the studio for only £50 – no need to choose an image collection or products until you have seen your final images

Cake Smash photoshoots take place at my studio in Chelmsford (Great Leigh, Essex) and can be done any time around baby’s birthday.

If you want to ensure products and images are ready for the big day, please ensure to get in touch ahead of time so we can schedule your session at least 4 weeks before baby’s birthday

When you are ready to book, we will reserve your appointment for £50, but before you book we’ll discuss setup options, outfits and props available and – of course – the cake!

Ahead of the session you will receive my prep guide, and I’ll be available to answer all your questions and clear any doubts you might have.

You can expect your cake smash photoshoot to last up to 90 minutes, and we will end the session with a nice bubble bath: not only does this gives us an option to capture some extra giggles, it also helps baby relax… ready to go home and rest!

Approximately 10 days after your session I will welcome you back to the studio for a viewing and ordering appointment, where we will reveal your final gallery of gorgeous images and help you decide which images and products suit you best.

My packages are detailed below. A £50 session retainer is payable upon booking to secure your session and is deducted from your chosen collection on the day of your viewing.
